STEVE ECKLUND
Steve has built an exceptional reputation as a fair chase hunter, and he is also a well-respected champion for hunting enthusiasts: "It's not what we do... it's who we are, and I am proud to be a hunter."
Steve's most recent hunting achievement now includes the North American 29, also referred to as the Super Slam. Completing this prestigious feat is definitely a feather in the cap of a man that has dedicated his life to the pursuit of excellence in the outdoors.
“The competition of the Super Slam is without question a huge accomplishment for me, I’m proud of what I’ve been able to accomplish in the outdoor industry to date. With that said, the next most often asked question is (what’s next), although I don’t have a definitive answer to that question, I know that my restless spirit and wondering soul will be pushing me to explore new dirt and tackle seemingly unattainable adventures in the future…..I might just be waiting for someone or something to tell me I can’t….or that’s not possible, that’s usually enough to get me in GO MODE”
JOE EPPELE
Spending well over 1/3 of his year in the field, Joe is an experienced outdoorsman with a proven track record for success. Growing up in a mountain logging town in the coastal region of B.C., Joe was raised hunting, fishing, and foraging in some of the wildest landscapes in North America.
Driven by the experience of the pursuit, Joe focuses on remote backcountry hunts and excels at overcoming challenging situations and unfavourable odds. With an accomplished history in professional athletics, Joe understands the hard work and dedication that are required to pursue a lifelong passion for big game hunting in the most remote and rugged terrain available.
When he’s not in the wilderness, Joe is committed to safeguarding it. His support for conservation initiatives highlights his focus on driving impactful transformations, and establishing a landscape that is more sustainable for both present and future generations. As a father of two, Joe and wife Kristen place a large emphasis on raising their sons outdoors and live a lifestyle centred around the hunting, fishing, and foraging traditions.
